About Me

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in Palm Beach County, Florida. I received my training at The Winters School in Houston in 1994 and have received advanced training in many massage therapy and body work techniques, including Myofascial Release (MFR), The John F. Barnes approach. I am continuing my training in MFR.

Myofascial Release (MFR) is, by far, the most effective technique that I have learned - and the most gentle. At the time I took my first Myofascial Release (MFR) course, I had several massage therapy clients who had chronic pain conditions. They felt some improvement after each session of massage therapy and several deep tissue techniques, but only for several days, then they were almost back to where they began. It was very frustrating to me! These chronic pain conditions were resolved with only a few MFR treatments. It is extremely effective to help my clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and increase overall well-being. MFR releases all levels of trauma - physical, mental, emotional.

I love what I do! I found my calling as a body worker several years after graduating from college. After a whiplash injury, I was receiving physical therapy, including massage therapy, when a co-worker mentioned that she'd had a headache for three days. I'm not sure what possessed me to say this, but I told her to sit down, that I could get rid of it for her. I massaged her head, neck and shoulders and, in fact, got rid of her headache. She told me it felt amazing and that I should do it for a living! That's where it all began. She became one of my massage therapy clients after I became licensed.

I am committed to providing personalized care to each of my clients, taking the time to understand their unique needs and goals. I want each client to get what they need from each session. My goal is to help each client feel their best, physically, mentally and emotionally.
